KAKURO is a crossword-like puzzle game that uses numbers for both the clues and answers, also know as the CROSS SUMS. The goal of the game is to insert a number from 1 to 9 inclusive into each white cell such that the sum of the numbers in each entry matches the clue associated with it and that no digit is duplicated in any entry. All basic rules are here:
- The value for a cell must be 1-9
- The answer cells must add up to the clue
- Duplicate numbers are not allowed within a clue (4=1+3, 4≠2+2)
- Each puzzle has a unique solution that can be solved without guesswork
This is a challenging mix of SUDOKU and CROSSWORD type games – if you like stretching your brain and doing some math for fun, this game is definitely for you!
